My bold, colorful, abstract paintings start with swirling large movements, sometimes over collage, often with pencil, marker or dark paints to create depth. It takes courage to approach a blank canvas or panel, and diving in fully is what has worked for me. From there it's all intuition and play (and some suffering!) until the painting has reached its happy place. That joy is what I hope to share with you.
