ABOUT MY ART

My art embodies movement and vitality through a dance of bold and delicate strokes. Incorporating multiple mediums and inspired by natural elements, I am an intuitive and expressive artist intrigued by the hints of what lies beneath the surface.

I make art that I'd like to see out in the world. I'm fully conscious of what humankind has wrought for future generations, and hope to put jewels of beauty and joy out there for those who come in contact with my art, while sharing the excitement and energy that fuels my creative process.

Note: A house and home-studio fire in October of 2020 destroyed the majority of my unsold earlier work. It was a painful time on many levels! Eventually, though, this opened the door to a fresh start in 2022. The joy of being home and in my new studio spills out in my work, and I continue to feel a new freedom as I approach each painting.
